Kamp Koral: Los Primeros Años de Bob Esponja es una serie spin-off que actúa como precuela de Bob Esponja. Se estrenó en Paramount+ (anteriormente conocido como CBS All Access) en los Estados Unidos el 4 de Marzo de 2021.[1][2] Está animada en CGI.
Presenta versiones más jóvenes de los personajes principales del programa original. Bob Esponja, Patricio, Calamardo, y Arenita son campistas; la Sra. Puff y Don Cangrejo son los monitores del campamento; Perlita es un bebé; Plankton y Karen son los cocineros del campamento; y Gary es un caracol extraviado que se convierte en la mascota de Bob Esponja.
Los 6 primeros episodios se estrenaron el 4 de Marzo de 2021, junto con la tercera película, Bob Esponja: Al Rescate. El 11 de Agosto de 2021, la serie fue renovada para la segunda temporada.[3] Los episodios finales de la primera temporada se estrenaron el 26 de Mayo de 2023. La segunda y última temporada se estrenó completa el 10 de Julio de 2024.[4]
